My MacBook’s HD failed again. It’s not even a year old.
I’m sad now.

The U of C medical center is a circuitous, confusing place. My lab is in a particularly confusing part of it, so we get lots of lost people asking us for directions to various areas.
Just now, two men asked me how to get to a nephrology lab.
And just minutes before that, a really cute guy asked how to get to another lab on the third floor.
I thought about directing him to my dick.
Don’t forget to just-the-tip your waitstaff.
…any suggestions for a good Italian restaurant in the city? Nothing too fancy. Neighborhood is no issue.

Now I’m on my knees
Your skin is something that I stir into my tea
And I am watching you
And you are starry, starry, starry
Oh, and you will never ever know how very sorry
You will be
I am
Now, I’m tumbling down
And I check a frown
Storm’s a brewin’.

Bette Davis is my favorite.
When someone at the bar steals your coat.
So I’ve been thinking about this since you asked, and I have to apologize because 1) I took so long to answer, and 2) I actually don’t have a very good answer for you. Most of what I know about sexual biology and reproductive evolution comes from my psych courses, biology lectures, symposia at U of C, and, of course, TV (The Learning Channel…back when it was for shows other than What Not to Wear). So yeah, I don’t really know about a good 101-type book.
BUT you might want to try some resources like the Journal of Sex Research or the Kinsey Institute for a start.
