someone on my dash just referred to chicago as a “fun, cute, quaint, little city,” which is 80% wrong in my book (“city” is appropriate, i’ll give you that).
acceptable alternatives for referring to chicago:
- the queen of the west
- city of broad shoulders
- hog butcher for the world
- stormy/husky/brawling
- the miami of canada (NOTE: this is a mr. burns reference)
